Stonehenge is a circular group of large rocks. They were arranged in an interior and exterior round manner. Stonehenge is in Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire, England. It was Built around 2750-1500 B.C. There is much speculation on the purpose of Stonehenge from magical to practical. THe most recent belief is to track the sun to denote harvest perods or simply a social center.

THe GReek culture contributedmany various forms of art: architecture, relief friez within the architecture, paintings, writings such as Homer;s Oddessey and Illiad, Sculpture, drama and performance, philospophy and mathematics along with the curiosity to discover and question. THe Greeks placed great emphasis on aesthetics and outward entertainment blieving expression was an extension of the soul.
4. What relationship exists between Roman art and Rooman politics? Roman art reflected the importance of Roman politics. Ropme was very concerned with it's outward appearance to those who were not citizens of Rome. The Colosseum, for example, "displayed Rome's strength and courage of the oman citizen to unemployed visitors to the city of Rome." THe Tetrarchs symbolized the unity of Rome and the effort to sustain the Empire. THe sculpture does not portray any individualized features; it only portrays Romes ability to maintain a plural rule.
