The romantic period piece "Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog" caught my eye immedietely: The calmness of the dark figure facing the crashing sea is interesting. THe coloring is both bright and dark, and yet intense. The figure has his back to the viewer, invoking a sense of mystery. I wonder what he may be thinking, or if he himself is mesmerized by the view.
